Experienced member Julian Comrie FRPS who also has the Fenton Medal for outstanding services to the Royal Photographic Society, judged the yearly Panel competition. A panel consists of five images which should have uniformity of presentation and theme or subject matter. The value of a panel is the fact that its strength lies in a connection between each image and ‘the whole would be greater than the sum of the parts’.

Print Panels result: First Jack Rose FRPS with Car Indicator/Lights; second Debbie Hammond with Wheatears and Wagtails; third David Harper with Poppy. Highly Commended were Caroline Briggs LRPS with Gull Flight and Jack Rose FRPS with Divisions of Space.

Digital Panels result: First Richard Baker with Candlelight; second Pauline Watling CPAGB with Puffins; third Richard Baker with Scenes from a Rake’s Progress. Highly Commended were John Bebbington FRPS with Pholcus and Pauline Watling CPAGB with Wild Flowers.

Sequence result: First Duncan Armour DPAGB with Views of Puget Sound.
